COVID wrecking your mental health? New initiative will award $100k to pilot solutions for Philly millennials

A large number of millennials in Philly are people of color living on low incomes. What help is available to this generation, defined as people born between 1981 and 1996?

For folks who come up with ideas to answer that question, a new initiative will give out $50k in prizes and another $50k seed funding. Strike for Black Lives in Philadelphia: Essential workers demand hazard pay, end to racial discrimination

The nationwide day of action, part of the broader Black Lives Matter uprisings sparked by the police killing of George Floyd, took place in more than two dozen cities nationwide. COVID-19 testing opens in North Philly community clinic

Philadelphia has added more COVID-19 testing capacity, opening a new site at the Health Center 5 community clinic on North 20th Street in the city’s Stanton neighborhood.
