August is Black Business Month, and Germantown is anything but short of an abundance of Black businesses. Historically, For generations Germantown has always been where Black businesses can thrive in Philadelphia. And while there are various Black-owned storefronts residents can patronize throughout the year, there are also businesses that operate without storefronts, like those who work through vending events and websites.
