Philly’s Black-led charter schools have alleged bias by the district. Now the claims will be investigated.

The African-American Charter Schools Coalition launched last year and now encompasses 20 schools serving 15,000 students. Kensington Community Resilience Fund will award $10,000 grants to eligible community groups this summer

The Kensington Community Resilience Fund is a public-private-community partnership between the City of Philadelphia, funders, and the Kensington, Harrowgate, and Fairhill communities.
